Rules for spot lamps on vehicles

This section allows a vehicle to have up to two spot lamps. When they are on, you must aim them so the bright part of the beam does not hit another vehicle's windshield, windows, mirrors, or people inside. It is a safety rule for using spot lamps.

Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not more than two spot lamps. Every lighted spot lamp shall be so aimed and used that no part of the high-intensity portion of the beam will strike the windshield or any windows, mirror, or occupant of another vehicle in use.
