Appealing a board of appeals decision to court

This section says that the board of appeals' decisions are final, but anyone who is unhappy with a decision can appeal it to the third circuit court. You must file the appeal within 30 days of the board's written decision, following the rules in chapter 91 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes.

All actions of the board of appeals are final except that, within thirty days of the date of the board’s written decision, any person aggrieved by the decision of the board of appeals may appeal such action to third circuit court pursuant to chapter 91, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes.
