HCC §25-5-157

Landscaping, walls, and permits for MG district properties

Read the official text at hawaiicounty.gov ↗

This section sets rules for properties in the MG district. Front yards must have landscaping, except for driveways and walkways. If a side or rear yard touches certain residential zones, you must build and keep a solid six-foot wall. New buildings or additions need plan approval, and some rules can be changed in a planned unit development.
