Rules for multiple buildings and plan approval in the V district

In the V district, you can put more than one main building on a lot, but they must be at least 15 feet apart. You need plan approval for new buildings or additions, except for one single-family house and its accessory buildings. (a) More than one main building may be situated on any building site in the V district. (b) The distance between main buildings on one building site in the V district shall be at least fifteen feet. SUPP. 19 (1-2026) 25-100 ZONING § 25-5-98 (c) Plan approval shall be required for all new structures and additions to existing structures in the V district, except for construction of one single-family dwelling and any accessory buildings per lot. (d) Exceptions to the regulations for the V district regarding heights, building site areas, building site average widths and yards, may be approved by the commission within a planned unit development.
