How the commission decides on PUD permit applications
Read the official text at hawaiicounty.gov ↗The county commission must hold a public hearing within 90 days of accepting a PUD permit application, then decide within 60 days after the hearing. If they don't decide in time and no one objects in writing, the application is automatically approved. Conditions on the permit must relate to the project and cannot require off-site improvements.
