Whenever any person, firm, or corporation violates any provision of this chapter, the director of public works shall serve, either through certified mail or by hand delivery, a notice of violation to the parties responsible for the violation. (a) The notice of violation shall identify the violation and require the responsible party to correct the violation and comply with applicable requirements of this chapter. (b) The notice of violation shall include at least the following information: (1) The date of the notice; (2) The name and address of the person served with the notice; (3) The tax key number of the property where the violation has been identified; (4) The section number of the chapter or other law which has been violated; (5) The nature of the violation; (6) The corrective measures required to comply with this chapter; (7) The deadline date for compliance with the notice.
