(a) The following monies collected under this chapter shall be used exclusively to support the administration and enforcement of this chapter and efforts to educate and inform the public about the County’s sign law: (1) Permit and variance application fees; and (2) Fines, minus costs of collection, that are collected pursuant to this chapter. (b) The director of public works shall keep an accurate record, in a form approved by the director of finance, of all fees and fines received and any disbursements made pursuant to this chapter and shall deposit all monies received with the treasurer. (c) The director of public works shall render an account of all monies received and disbursed pursuant to this article to the council on or before March 1 of each year.
