How district boundaries can be set and changed

A community facilities district can include separate pieces of land that are not connected. The county council can make the district smaller than what was first announced, but it cannot add land that was not in the original notice or petition, unless another law allows it.

(a) A community facilities district may include areas of territory that are not contiguous. (b) In establishing the boundaries of the district, the council may alter the exterior boundaries of the district to include less territory than that described in the notice of the hearing or the petition but it may not include any territory not described in the notice of the hearing or the petition except as provided in section 32-25.
