Rules against placing news racks on public land

This section bans putting newspaper or magazine racks on public sidewalks, streets, or other public land in the district, unless the article allows it. If someone puts one up anyway, the county can remove it, fine them, or take other enforcement actions.

The following prohibitions shall apply: (1) Other than provided in this article there shall be no publication dispensing device allowed and no person may install or direct another person to install any publication dispensing device on any public property, sidewalk, or right of way within the district. (2) Any publication dispensing device installed in violation of this article shall be subject to administrative enforcement including but not limited to removal, fines, cease and desist orders and forfeiture in accordance with section 22-8.2 of this Code.
