The County animal control and protection agency shall be authorized to seize and impound any dog, cat, or other domesticated animal, when such dog, cat, or other domesticated animal is a stray, and to dispose of such dog, cat, or domesticated animal in accordance with chapter 143, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, as amended. 4-3 SUPP. 17 (1-2025)
