(a) In the public interest, convenience, health, welfare and safety, there shall be a minimum ratio of five acres of land for park and playground purposes for each one thousand persons in every district. (b) Population density for the purpose of this article shall be: (1) Single-family dwelling units and duplexes = 3.5 persons per dwelling unit; and (2) Multiple-family dwelling units = 2.1 persons per dwelling unit.
