When to start work and how to extend a relocation permit

This section sets deadlines for starting work under a relocation permit. You must begin within 180 days of getting the permit, unless the Building Official extends the time for good reason. To ask for an extension, you must do so at least 15 days before the permit expires.

All work for which a relocation permit is issued under the provisions of this Article shall be started within 180 days of the date of issuance of the permit, unless extended for good cause by the Building Official.
