Which Factory-Built Homes This Law Covers

This section says the rules apply to making, building, setting up, and moving factory-built homes, structures, or trailer homes in Kauai County. Unless the rules say otherwise, they only apply to homes that are sold or offered for sale. The county's Building, Electrical, and Plumbing Codes also apply unless this article says something different.

These provisions are applicable to the design, construction, installation and transportation of factory-built housing, structure or trailer home within the County of Kaua'i. Unless otherwise specified in this Article, these provisions shall be applicable only to factory-built housing, structure and trailer home which is sold or offered for sale.All provisions of the Building, Electrical, and Plumbing Codes shall be applicable unless indicated otherwise in this Article.
