How to appeal a County Engineer decision

If you disagree with a decision by the County Engineer about this article, you can appeal to the Board of Appeals. You must file your appeal within 21 calendar days after you are told about the decision. Your notice must say which part of the article you are appealing and why.

An applicant may challenge any requirement, decision or determination by the County Engineer regarding this Article by filing a notice of appeal with the Board of Appeals of the County of Kaua'i within twenty-one (21) calendar days after notification of the challenged action. The notice shall state the provisions of this Article from which the appeal is taken and the reasons for the appeal. The Board of Appeals shall apply the standards established in this Article when it reviews and hears the appeal.
