Extra lights allowed on cars and when they can be used

This section says what extra lights you can add to your car. You can add up to two side lights and one running board light per side, but they must be amber or white and not glare. A back-up light is allowed, but it must be off when the car is moving forward.

Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not more than two (2) side cowl or fender lamps which shall emit an amber or white light without glare.Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not more than one (1) running board courtesy lamp on each side thereof which shall emit a white or amber light without glare.A motor vehicle may be equipped with a back-up lamp either separately or in combination with another lamp; but the back-up lamp shall not be lighted when the motor vehicle is in forward motion.
