Red light or reflector required for parked cars at night

If you park or stop your car on a street at night, you must show a red light on the back that can be seen from at least 200 feet away. You do not need the light if your car has a red reflector that can be seen from 50 to 300 feet away.

Whenever a vehicle is parked or stopped on a street during the time between thirty (30) minutes after sunset and thirty (30) minutes before sunrise, there shall be displayed upon the rear thereof a red light visible not less than two hundred (200) feet from the rear thereof, provided, that no lights need be displayed upon any vehicle when there shall be attached upon the rear of the vehicle a red reflector so maintained as to be visible from all distances within three hundred (300) feet to fifty (50) feet from the vehicle.
