It shall be unlawful for any person to work upon any portion of the public streets, roads, highways, alleys, lanes, driveways, paths, or sidewalks unless the work shall employ the necessary warning signs, lights and other safety devices, required by the rules, regulations and specifications contained in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets & Highways, Part VI (U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Public Roads, June 1961), issued by the County Engineer.
