Court can suspend or revoke a driver's license for moving violations

In addition to the penalty provided in Section 16-21.8 of this Article, the court may revoke or may suspend, for a period not to exceed one (1) year, the license of any operator or chauffeur convicted of a violation of any section or provision of this Chapter involving a vehicle in motion.
