Notice When Backfill Work Is Done

Immediately upon the completion of the tamping and refilling of any excavation or opening as provided in this Article, the holder of the permit shall notify the County Engineer of that fact stating the location of the opening, and if the opening is in or partly in a pavement, base course, or through a concrete gutter, curb or sidewalk, or any other public structure, the street opening shall then be turned over to the Department of Public Works for repaving or for repairing such other public structure damaged by the permit holder.
