Utility agreement deadline when the County asks for utility work

When the County asks a utility to move or rebuild its equipment, the utility must sign an agreement within 30 days of getting the request. The agreement must set a time to finish the work. If no agreement is reached in 30 days (or any extension), the County's proposed terms become the agreement.

When a request is made by the County for the removal, relocation, replacement or reconstruction of any utility facility as provided for in Sec. 18-4.5(a), a utility agreement shall be executed within thirty (30) days after the receipt of the County's request specifying a mutually agreeable time interval to complete the project. If an agreement is not reached within the thirty (30) day limitation or any extension agreed upon, the terms of the utility agreement shall be as proposed by the County.
