Appealing permit decisions within 30 days

If the county approves, denies, suspends, revokes, or changes a permit, you can appeal that decision. You must file the appeal within 30 days of being told about the decision. The appeal follows the rules in Hawaii's administrative procedures law.

Within thirty (30) days of service, decisions to approve, deny, suspend, revoke, or modify a permit may be appealed in accordance with rules of practice and procedure established pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawai'i Revised Statutes.
