Only the materials listed below shall be accepted at temporary emergency debris receiving sites, for disposition by such means as will maximize reuse, recycling, and bioconversion, and minimize waste disposal:Aggregates;Bulky items;Ferrous and non-ferrous metals;Greenwaste;Gypsum wallboard;Mixed construction and demolition debris;Plastic sheeting and other plastic items;White goods; andWood debris.Garbage and refuse may be accepted at temporary emergency debris receiving sites only if one (1) of the following conditions exists:The Hawai'i Department of Health has provided written authorization to bury and/or burn solid waste at the temporary emergency debris receiving sites; orThe Department of Public Works contracts for the placement of refuse containers to receive garbage and refuse at the temporary emergency debris receiving sites.Any materials accepted at temporary emergency debris receiving sites shall be directly related to the declared emergency which resulted in establishment of the temporary emergency debris receiving sites.Materials of each type shall be segregated at the source prior to delivery to the temporary emergency debris receiving site. Any material not listed as acceptable in this Section is prohibited at temporary emergency debris receiving sites.
