County Engineer Review and Approval

The County Engineer checks all drainage plans against the stormwater manual and county rules. Even if the County Engineer approves a plan, the owner, engineer, and designer are still responsible for making sure everything is correct and meets the rules. The County Engineer also explains the manual when needed.

The County Engineer shall review all drainage submittals for compliance with the Stormwater Runoff System Manual and this Article. An approval by the County Engineer shall not relieve any owner, engineer, or designer of the responsibility for ensuring that the calculations, plans, specifications, construction, and as-built drawings, are in compliance with the Stormwater Runoff System Manual and this Article and that the necessary or desired drainage objectives shall be accomplished.The County Engineer shall interpret the Stormwater Runoff System Manual as needed.
