Except as permitted under Section 22-3.3, it shall be unlawful for any person to throw, set off, fire or cause to be exploded any pyrotechnic articles except on the following days:Fourth of July: 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.New Year's Eve: 6:00 p.m., December 31, to 1:00 a.m. January 1, New Year's Day.Chinese New Year's Eve: 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Chinese New Year's Day.
