KCC §22-7.24

How the County can collect unpaid fines

Read the official text at ecode360.com ↗

If you owe a civil fine and have used up all your appeals, the County can add the unpaid fine to your property taxes or other county charges, but not to residential water or sewer bills. The County Engineer can also sue you in court to enforce the fine, and only needs to show the fine was properly issued and not paid.
