KCC §24-3.7

Who inspects and takes over new water and public facilities

Read the official text at ecode360.com ↗

This section says that when someone builds or improves a water system, the Board of Water Supply must inspect it to make sure it matches the approved plans. After the work is accepted, the water system becomes part of the Board's system, and the Board must run and maintain it. The County can also inspect other public facilities, and once accepted, the County takes over running and maintaining them.
