County inspections of sewer connections

The County Engineer can enter any building or property at any time, without a warrant, to inspect, investigate, measure, or test waste going into the public sewer system. This includes waste from private sewers connected to the public system. The entry must be within the law and part of official duties.

The County Engineer may to the extent permitted by law, without a warrant, at any time enter any building or premises in the discharge of his or her official duties to inspect, investigate, measure or test the waste discharged directly into the sewer system or from any private sewer connected, directly or indirectly to the public system.
