Agreement to Foreclose on Delinquent Special Taxes

This section lets the Director of Finance promise bond owners that the county will start and finish a foreclosure sale for unpaid special taxes. The promise can set a deadline and other reasonable terms. It only covers this type of agreement.

The Director of Finance may covenant, for the benefit of bond owners, to commence and diligently pursue to completion any foreclosure by advertisement and sale regarding delinquent special taxes. The covenant may specify a deadline for commencement of the foreclosure sale and any other terms and conditions the Director of Finance determines reasonable regarding the foreclosure sale.
