Appealing your property tax assessment

If you disagree with a tax or liability assessment under this article, you can appeal it. You must file your appeal within 30 days of the assessment date. The appeal goes to the tax appeal court following state law.

Any person aggrieved by any assessment of the tax or liability imposed by this Article may appeal from the assessment within 30 days of the date of the assessment to tax appeal court in accordance with Section 232-16, Hawai'i Revised Statutes.
