When a tax payment is due on a weekend or holiday

If the date you must pay a tax or file a document falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, you get extra time. The payment or document is not due until the next day that is not a weekend or holiday. This rule applies to any tax required by county ordinance.

When the due date for any remittance or document required by any ordinance imposing a tax falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, the remittance or document shall not be due until the next succeeding day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday.
