Creating the revenue sharing trust fund

This section sets up a special county bank account called the revenue sharing trust fund. All money the county gets from a specific state law, plus any interest it earns, must be put into this account right away.

There shall be established in the books of the Finance Department a trust fund to be designated as the "revenue sharing trust fund" to which shall be deposited promptly upon receipt all payments received under the State and Local Assistance Act of 1972, P. L. 92-512, including any interest earned thereon.
