KCC §8-13.2When old uses of land or buildings can continue
Read the official text at ecode360.com ↗This section explains when a use of land or buildings that doesn't meet current rules can keep going. It can continue if it existed by a certain date, but can be stopped if it's a serious health or safety danger. If the use stops for a long time or the building is destroyed, it usually can't restart unless rebuilt quickly.
