During school hours on weekdays, only school employees and people the principal allows can park in the Kamehameha III school parking lot on Front Street. Parents and guardians can still enter to pick up their child. The rule does not apply on weekends or holidays.

A. No driver of any vehicle, except employees of the department of education of the State of Hawaii and others so authorized by the principal of Kamehameha III school, shall park such vehicle between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. within the area of the Kamehameha III school parking lot fronting Front Street in Lahaina, County of Maui. B. Nothing in this section shall be construed to preclude the right of a parent or legal guardian to enter the parking lot to take custody of a student during regular school hours. C. Restrictions in subsection A of this section shall not apply to Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. (Ord. 413.303 § 1 (part), 2001; Prior code § 10-2.3)
