Driveway permit required

A.
No person shall construct, reconstruct or repair any driveway, or cut or lower any
curb for any of such purposes on county rights-of-way without first obtaining a written
permit therefor from the director.
B.
No person shall convert an abandoned driveway into a sidewalk without first having
obtained a written permit therefor from the director.
C.
If there is no driveway or the existing driveway does not conform to this chapter,
then a driveway permit is required for the construction of any new dwelling unit or
for the construction or reconstruction of any structure not used as a dwelling unit
that exceeds $25,000 in value.
D.
A county driveway permit is not required for a driveway in state controlled rights-of-way.
