Driveway Permit Fees

A.
Except as provided in this chapter, the following permit fee shall apply to all driveways:
1.
The driveway permit fee as set forth in the annual budget.
B.
No inspectional fee shall be assessed in areas where the pavement covers the width
of the right-of-way and where the automobile path leading from a garage or house ends
on the road right-of-way, if inspection is required during normal working hours. Normal
permit fees, however, shall be required.
C.
No fee for a driveway permit shall be required of any foreign consulate or any governmental
subdivision or agency of the County, state, or federal government.
D.
All units in a residential development in which one hundred per cent of the units
qualify as residential workforce housing units, as defined in section 2.96.020 of this code, shall be exempt from the fee.
E.
A residential workforce housing unit, as defined in section 2.96.020 of this code, shall be assessed fifty per cent of the fee.
