Every permit issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be valid for sixty days from the date of issuance of such permit, or as long as the building permit is valid; provided, however, the director may extend in writing, the permit for such period of time not to exceed thirty days for good cause shown, upon application by the permit holder prior to the expiration date of the permit. Such application shall be on forms furnished by the director. (Prior code § 21-7.7)
