The director may designate the location of the driveway at the point of optimum sight distance along the highway when there are reasons to believe that the driveway will cause undue interference with or hazard to the free movement of normal highway traffic and pedestrians. The director may require land owners fronting a heavily traveled highway to provide for a turnaround area in their properties. This turnaround area shall not be used for parking or for storing any equipment, material, or thing, and shall be accessible at all times. (Prior code § 21-7.13)
