Neighborhood Watch Signs

This law lets the county build and put up neighborhood watch signs on county land, paid for by the county. It aims to help communities start or run neighborhood watch programs. This section only explains the law's purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to assist communities with neighborhood watch crime prevention programs and to encourage the formation of neighborhood watch programs by other communities by authorizing the department of public works to construct and install neighborhood watch signs at appropriate locations on county property at county expense.
