A.
Application for interment at the veterans' cemetery shall be made with the veterans'
affairs advisor at least two working days in advance of time of interment. Honorable
discharge or honorable separation papers shall be provided to prove a person's status
as a veteran.
B.
The veterans' affairs advisor shall make arrangements to provide an American flag
and flat bronze marker for any deceased serviceman or veteran. Flat bronze markers
with appropriate inscription for others shall be provided by the family of the deceased
or by the applicant for the deceased.
C.
Obtaining a firing squad shall be the responsibility of the family of the deceased
or of the mortuary.
D.
The department of public works of the county will open and close the plots. Person(s)
shall not hamper operations by the county.
E.
Burial shall be held during normal working hours, on Monday through Friday from eight
a.m. to three p.m. unless otherwise specifically requested by the family of the deceased.
