Paying back county fines from state or federal penalties

If you break the pretreatment rules, you must pay the county back for any state or federal fines the county has to pay because of your violation. This payment is an extra civil penalty on top of any county penalty.

Any person violating any provision of this article, any order, or permit issued hereunder, or any other pretreatment standard or requirement, shall fully reimburse the County for any State and federal penalties imposed on the County due to such violation. Such reimbursement shall constitute a civil penalty in addition to any County imposed penalty and shall be collected by the County as a civil penalty. (Ord. 2760 § 4 (part), 1999)
