Permit required for wastewater system work

You must get a permit before connecting to or working on the public wastewater system. Unauthorized digging, altering, or using the system is banned. This section only sets the permit requirement—it does not explain how to apply or what the permit costs.

No unauthorized person shall uncover, make any connection with or open into, use, alter, or disturb any public wastewater system or appurtenances thereto and no person, shall make any connection to any part of the public wastewater system without first making an application and securing a permit.
