Tenants Who Must Pay Assessments Can Protest
Read the official text at library.municode.com ↗If your lease says you must pay the special assessment for a property improvement, you can protest it just like the owner does. To protest, you must file a certified copy of your lease with the county clerk before the hearing. The owner or landlord can cancel your protest by filing a waiver and a promise to pay.
