MCC §14.50.040

How property owners are told about their assessments

Read the official text at library.municode.com ↗

After the county passes a law charging property owners, the finance director must tell them about it. They publish a notice in the newspaper and mail a certified letter to each owner and leaseholder. The letter says how much is owed, when and where to pay, and mentions another rule about what happens if you don't pay.
