Public hearing on proposed reassessments

This section explains what happens at a public hearing about proposed reassessments. The council's resolution must include the reassessment report details it approves, or list any changes. At the hearing, people cannot complain about improvements that are already finished.

The resolution fixing the date, time and place of public hearing upon the proposed reassessments shall also refer to and incorporate by reference the matters contained in the reassessment report insofar as same are approved by the council, and if same are not approved by the council, such resolution shall set forth such variations thereof as the council determines are advisable. At the hearing, no complaints or objections shall be heard with respect to the improvements, or any portion thereof, which have been completed, and section 14.46.030 shall not be applicable.
