West Maui transportation plan

The county council must begin the plan and have it finished within one year after hiring an engineer. The plan becomes part of the county code only if the council adopts it later by a separate ordinance.

Council shall initiate the development of the west Maui transportation plan upon the
effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter. The west Maui transportation
plan shall be completed and submitted to the council within one year from the date
the contract for said plan is awarded to a qualified professional engineer licensed
to practice within the state of Hawaii and shall be incorporated as part of Title 14 , Article 4 of this code, upon adoption by separate ordinance.
