New development must match Paia-Haiku community plan

New land development in the Paia-Haiku area must be planned so that roads and other public services can keep up with population growth. Development should not go forward unless it includes the traffic improvements needed because of that development.

Under the Paia-Haiku community plan, new land development activity shall be coordinated with future provisions for adequate public services and facilities to ensure that infrastructure development such as roadways, are able to keep pace with population growth. To promote orderly growth under the Paia-Haiku community plan, new land development activities should not be allowed to proceed without providing for necessary traffic improvements caused by such land developments.
