Section 50.4 of the NFPA 1, as amended by the State Fire Code, is amended by amending
subsection 50.4.6.1 to read as follows:
50.4.6.1 Upon actuation of any fire-extinguishing system for a cooking operation, all sources
of fuel and electrical power that produce heat to all equipment protected by the system
must automatically shut off. This provision applies to all electrical receptacles
located under the hood.
