MCC §16.26C.1613
Seismic design category tables updated for building codes
Read the official text at library.municode.com ↗This section updates two tables in the building code that assign seismic design categories (A through D) to buildings based on earthquake ground motion and risk category. The tables set thresholds for short-period and 1-second response accelerations. Builders and officials use these categories to determine earthquake safety requirements.
