This chapter is enacted in accordance with the U.S. National Flood Insurance Act of
1968 (Public Laws 90-448 and 91-152), as amended, and the U.S. Flood Disaster Protection
Act of 1973 (Public Law 93-234), as amended, and chapter 46, Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes.
