Preliminary plat size, scale, and index sheet rules

This section sets the size and scale for preliminary subdivision maps, following state law. If the map needs more than one sheet, you must also file an index sheet showing the whole subdivision with block and lot numbers. All important information on the map must be drawn to scale.

The preliminary plat shall be drawn according to size and scale as provided in section 502-18 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. When more than one sheet is required, an index sheet of the same size shall be filed to show the entire subdivision on one sheet, with block and lot numbers.
